olympia comics fest is happening this saturday and i've never been to olympia. not only should the olympia comics fest be fun, it will be a good opportunity to do some networking for both the portland zine symposium and sequential art gallery.
so, i am not only going to hit up the fest on saturday, but i plan to head out friday night and stay saturday night.. i may even stay sunday night, depending if i find a friendly enough floor willing to accommodate me for so long. i am going to try to bring my bike, but it may depend on what bus or rideshare i can find as to whether or not i bring it.
anyone else going up to olympia for the fest? anyone have secrets of olympia to share?

one of my favorite graphic novels, persepolis, is totally a film. when this comes to america we all have to go see it. i will see it at least 3 times in the theater.
will marjane satrapi please just marry me? she's just so awesome i can't even bear it.
if anyone wants to borrow persepolis, persepolis 2, embroideries, chicken with plums and/or monsters are afraid of the moon in preparation for watching the persepolis movie, just let me know!
